Founder Story
More than ten years ago Lauren Anderson and Michael Knee co-founded Silk Hospitality. The company has been built to offer clients an alternative provider who is more focused on delivering high quality services through an innovative and customer centric approach.

A Strong History
All good stories have a beginning. Silk’s began nearly 30 years ago when our Chairman founded the concept of outsourced housekeeping in Australia in the early 1990s.
Silk was built from a desire to give the hotel industry a partner who has a strong people culture, is easy to do business with, and invests in innovative systems and processes.
